A Journey of Passion and Impact
Since our inception in April 2019, Bradford 4 Better has evolved from a citizen-led movement into a thriving Community Interest Company. Our mission, to inform, inspire, and empower the citizens of Bradford to make positive changes, has been the driving force behind numerous impactful projects.
From city-wide and local litter picks to action days in various areas, we have strived to make Bradford cleaner, safer, and better for everyone. Our initiatives, such as “Don’t Mess with Bradford”, “Life Savers”, “GP4Better”, Community Health Checks, our campaign against nuisance fireworks and Bonfire Night Patrols, to name a few, have not only inspired civic pride but have also made a tangible difference in the lives of our fellow Bradfordians.
Making it Happen. Reigniting the pride in our city.
A Community United
This award belongs to every volunteer, supporter, and partner who has been a part of the Bradford 4 Better journey. Together, we have raised awareness of anti-social behaviour, promoted road safety, and worked towards creating a fair, equal, safe, and diverse society for all.
The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is a recognition of our commitment to social cohesion, community harmony, and the development of an inclusive and welcoming Bradford. We have worked hand in hand with local groups, authorities, and organisations, and this award is a celebration of those collaborations.
What’s Next?
As we celebrate this significant achievement, we are filled with gratitude for the support we’ve received from our community, local authorities, and various organisations. This is not just an end but a milestone on our journey towards a better Bradford.
Thank you, Bradford, for being a part of the positive change we are collectively making in our city. Let’s continue to inspire, inform, and empower each other!
